Quick Burgundy Bean Soup

4 - 5 servings


  1. 1 large onion, chopped
  2. 2 tablespoons melted butter
  3. 2 cans condensed bean with bacon soup
  4. 1/2 cup burgundy wine
  5. 2 cups water
  6. 1 cube beef bouillon
  7. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

In large pan, saute onion in butter for five minutes. Add soup, wine, water, bouillon cube and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
