Chicken Pita Sandwich

This little sandwich is perfect for brown bag lunches or a quick snack


  1. 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
  2. 1/4 teaspoon dijon mustard
  3. 1 cup (about 5 ounces) cooked chicken breast, shredded or chopped
  4. 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  5. 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  6. 1/2 cup alfalfa sprouts
  7. 1 Tablespoon chopped green onion
  8. 1 tomato, cut to make four slices
  9. 2 pitas, cut in half

Blend together mayonnaise and mustard; add chicken, bacon, cheese and onion. Stir to combine.

Place 1 tomato slice into each pita half. Spoon one fourth of chicken mixture into each pita half. Top with sprouts.
